An International Circle Journal Adventure!

I recently joined an International Circle Journal, with a group of 12 lovely ladies from around the world; we all have 1 thing in common, the lovely website; twopeasinabucket.com! We each chose a theme, mine was My Home Town and once we created our pages for our journals we sent them on to their next destination. Our journals get to travel the world, making stops here in the USA, Japan, New Zealand and Australia just to name a few! I'm wishing I could do the same! *grin*
So each time I finish my next set of pages I will be posting them here to share with you! I am expecting some lovely pages from some very talented ladies; I cannot wait to see the next challenge I get in the mail.

Here is the cover of my circle journal, I used K&Co papers and Maya Road House Chipboard pieces. I made the album out of Chipboard sheets and the album is 8x8. The pictures below are the few pages from my album before I sent it out, it includes the opening pages, direction pages and then my 2 pages for my theme.

These 2 pages are my introduction and instruction page. I used alot of transparencies and embellishments.

These 2 pages are my pages, showing some of the fun & interesting areas from my home town. Places to eat, places to go and sporting events to attend!

These 2 pages tell about the locations and events on the left page,

and these 2 pages tell about the locations and events on the right page. They are 1/2 pages made from transparencies and embellished.
Thanks again for looking and I will be posting more pages as I receive journals from the other ladies in the group.

Happy Easter to all!

Happy Easter everyone! Here is a lovely Easter layout I did for my Etsy shop! I will be uploading it to the shop later today when I get home from work. I hope someone likes it and wants to adopt it and bring it home!
I think it turned out just beautifully!
The left page has an adorable fuzzy bunny sitting on the ground. The pages are decorated with a Doodle Bug Easter line that I just love; it is so bright and girly! I have also added alot of flowers and ric rac and ribbon. The simple title I did in felt letters, I like how they turned out. I'm liking felt more and more for embellishing.

Here is a close-up of the adorable little bunny from the left page, She was made with fuzzy felt, black brad eyes, Bazzill cardstock nose and chalk. She also has flowers and a bow on her ear.

Here is the right page, or page 2 as most like to call it. The main bunny is a little girl carrying flowers in her hands. They are embellished with brads for centers and a little glitter. This page also has a little tiny baby bunny sitting in the corner with a little bow in her hair. Page is also embellished with flowers, ribbon and ric rac.

Here is a close-up of the girl bunny from page 2. I love how she turned out! She's so cute just standing there holding her flowers. I Think they might be for her mom.

My Scraproom finally refinished & organized!

I was finally able to finish redoing my scraproom! It only took a couple of years to get it completely the way I wanted it! I also know where everything is now and exactly what supplies I have to play with. I love the Chatterbox Sunroom line so that is what I based my room on. All the papers that were used to decorate the room with was the Sunroom papers and the walls were painted the orange color to match! It makes it bright and sunny and very inspiring to work in! This picture shows the room from the entry door.

The bookcases pictured here I got from Ikea (finally one close enough to me to go get them) and the baskets, jars and photo boxes I got that are holding all my supplies I got at a local store here called The Flower Factory. This bookshelf holds some of my idea magazines, my many punches, my jars of buttons each color is in a different jar, makes it easier to find what color I'm looking for.;) My many jars of flowers from many different companies; blank books and some of my finished mini albums.

This bookshelf holds my rub-ons, chipboard letters, some mini ribbons in a nice basket, a couple of baskets for my extra adhesives, and larger felt embellies. The 3 boxes with the mini drawers hold all my alphabets by letter; makes it way easier this way, you can just go in and pick the letters you want and go! ;) Nice metal pails holding all my pens, fine, medium and bold! The white photo boxes(and 1 blue) holds all my embellies for different holidays

This bookshelf holds all my stamping stuff; baskets and baskets of stamping stuff! Can never have too much! LOL! Actually most of the baskets are stamps, but not all of them ;) A couple of baskets holds my acrylic paints, chalking and distressing stuff. The little drawers bins holds my wire, flocking and embossing jars.

This is a picture of a couple of cabinets I also got at Ikea, they hold all my paper. One holds my 12x12 papers both Bazzill and patterned, the other holds all my 8 1/2x11 and mat stacks. The cabinet on the left holds all my jars of metal embellies, each jar holds a different color. The cabinet on the right holds my Cuttlebug and my Quickutz Revolution. Above the cabinets I hung a short decorative curtain rod to hang some of my scrapbook pages. I change these periodically.

This is a picture of one of the cabinets open showing how much paper they can hold! I have a lot of paper! I LOVE paper! I also store my chipboard in here as well. I have all my paper lines seperated, as well by occassion, holiday or event.

This is a picture of the wall closest to the closet. I have hung a few of my framed paper piecing's here. These are some of the first ones I ever did. I love how the Wizard of Oz paper piecing's came out! I have a whole collection of all the paper piecing's I have ever done in an album. It's one of my favorite things to do.

This is a pic of my ribbon rack. (I have a lot of ribbon!) I think I might need to join a 12 step program for ribbon addiction! LOL I use it on everything.
That's all for now, thanks for stopping by, and if you have any questions don't heistate to ask me. Just use the envelope icon on the right and you can send me an email.
